National Call for Action

Called by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to fund the Corona Virus Mitigation Trust Fund to support the work of the National Taskforce.
Funds will be collected in a centralized account at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia through an account established by the Mission at Citibank N.A.

Building a Social Safety Net
Sustained Intervention and support is required.

• Helping vulnerable households
• Easing fiscal pressures on the economy,
• Increasing testing lab capacity
• Training healthcare workers

Embassies worldwide including the Permanent Mission have been asked to mobilize the diaspora

• Pool resources to effectively address priority areas
• Strengthen the government’s ability to plan based on immediate needs and execute initiatives effectively.
